Our founder and CEO, Sydney Dozier, started Renaissance Marketing Group in 2014 at twenty-two years old. While her background as the Marketing Director of The Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville certainly gave her a strong foundation of knowledge for social media, business strategy, and PR, she often yearned for a mentor to “pick their brains” for various business questions and strategies as she was learning to navigate the world of entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, RMG continued to grow and expanded its offices from Atlanta, GA to Nashville, TN. One day, Dozier hoped, she might serve as a role model and mentor for young female entrepreneurs.
After eight years of serving hundreds of businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profit agencies, Renaissance Marketing Group is thrilled to announce the creation of The Mona Lisa Foundation.
Through an application screening process, The Mona Lisa Foundation selects female entrepreneurs in Middle Tennessee that are in need of mentorship, resources, and funding for their businesses, and provides all of that to them at no charge. When selected and initiated into the Mona Lisa Program, our “Mona Lisas” are given an entire year of complimentary digital marketing services, mentorship, training, and education from the Renaissance Marketing Group team and their network of business moguls and successful entrepreneurs. The mentorship includes sessions on business strategy and best practices, accounting, operations, marketing, website development/E-Commerce training, paid advertising, social media management and content creation, influencer relations, branding/graphic design, copywriting, networking and more. The goal of the Mona Lisa Foundation is to provide women entrepreneurs with the education, resources, network, and financial support that Sydney wished she had when she started her business almost a decade ago.
